January 18, 2022 | When you open up your work email, you never know what you will find; but take a look at these encouraging words Joe Hunt read about Caleb when he opened up an email from Sam Bartley from Chesapeake Energy: “I just wanted to tell you that Caleb did an awesome job for us this year! He has really stepped up to the challenge of taking on more of a leadership position, which isn’t always easy. Great job, Caleb!” Caleb Anderson has been at JHA for nearly 10 years now. Caleb, who is originally from Milan, PA, started working at JHA while he was still in school at Pennsylvania College of Technology working toward a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and associate degree in Surveying. When Caleb first started working for us, he worked part-time as a technician helping with surveying, engineering, and construction inspection. After he graduated, Caleb was offered a full-time job, and the opportunity to learn CAD design, which led to working on well pad design for Chesapeake. Skip forward to today, and Caleb is managing the Chesapeake projects as a Team Leader for Oil and Natural Gas in our Sayre office location. Caleb enjoys the team mentality here at JHA because everyone is always willing to step up and help at any time. He also feels he has been provided ample opportunities to expand his knowledge and feels those opportunities helped him grow into his role he currently has.
Outside of work, Caleb enjoys being with his wife Shannon and their two children, Charlotte, 4, and Parker, 1.5. He likes to spend his spare time outdoors where he fishes and hunts, specifically waterfowl (ducks & geese). In the summer, Caleb and his family spend weekends at his parents’ lake house on Highland Lake in Bradford County. Caleb has two cats, Jag and Lambo, and two dogs, Lila and Winnie. Fun fact: Winnie is being trained to hunt with Caleb.
