JHA Companies Acquires Brehm-Lebo Engineering, Expanding Engineering and Surveying Services in South Central Pennsylvania

JHA Companies is pleased to announce the acquisition of Brehm-Lebo Engineering, Inc., a Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based civil and structural engineering, planning, and land surveying firm. The acquisition builds on a collaborative relationship developed over the past year as the two firms supported one another on projects throughout the region. The success of that work highlighted the companies’ shared commitment to client service, strong relationships, and complementary technical expertise.

The addition of the Brehm-Lebo team strengthens JHA’s Municipal Engineering and Land Surveying teams, expands the firm’s engineering capabilities, and extends its reach across South Central Pennsylvania. Doug Brehm, PLS, Gregory Lebo, PE, and other key Brehm-Lebo personnel will continue serving clients as part of JHA, providing continuity and a seamless transition.

Brehm-Lebo traces its roots to 1981, when Wayne Statler and Larry Lahr established Statler & Lahr, Inc. in Carlisle. Doug Brehm was the firm’s first employee and became a partner in 1988. Gregory Lebo, who first joined the company part time while attending college, returned as a partner in 1997. In 1998, the firm became Brehm-Lebo Engineering, Inc. and grew into a full-service civil and structural engineering, planning, and surveying practice serving commercial, residential, municipal, state, federal, and industrial clients.

As part of the acquisition, JHA Companies will maintain Brehm-Lebo’s office in Carlisle, ensuring continued local support for clients throughout the region. The Carlisle office complements JHA’s existing locations in Camp Hill and Shippensburg and brings JHA’s Mid-Atlantic office count to ten.
