February 10, 2022 | Sierra Simko is THRIVING here at JHA Companies! Sierra joined the JHA team in 2012 as a Designer shortly after completing her Bachelor of Architecture at Temple University. Initially, she was cross trained as a civil designer serving Project Leaders on land development and pipeline projects, many from start to finish. When JHA began offering building design services, Sierra jumped at the opportunity to return to her desired career path of architecture. She successfully co-led a few projects in the beginning before she began leading projects. Sierra’s success led to her promotion to Project Leader in 2017. Sierra has continued to grow herself, her skills, and the Building Design team. In 2020, Sierra was promoted to Team Leader of Building Services. Additionally, her family has grown too! Sierra and her husband, Stephen, welcomed their second son into the world this past November of 2021 and she has been busy managing things on the home front while on family leave.
We are thrilled to announce her promotion to Vice President & Director of Building Design. She also now joins the JHA Core Support Team who lead, serve, and provide strategic direction for the entire JHA team. Congratulations, Sierra!
