For this 2019 project, JHA began the Holy Ghost Distillery project by beginning to work on Land Development process, which consisted of walking them through the regulatory review process with Kidder Township. Along with working with the township, JHA responded to several comments from the engineer with land development projects. This included Erosion & Sedimentation Control Plan from Carbon County Conservation District. JHA also coordinated with Kidder Township SEO to tie the facility’s septic system into the existing system, a necessary step for the Land Development process.
JHA also provided the distillery with Building Design and submitted the plans to the Building Code Official followed by an inspection through Kidder Township. During the time frame of the project JHA and Blue Card Enterprises, LLC, worked with PennDOT to re-permit the Highway Occupancy Permit for the existing entrance and ensure that the entrance was approved for the distillery. Once approved JHA made sure the distillery’s vision became a reality with a building that looks like the 1800s with a touch of modernization.
John Sepcoski, Co-Owner of Holy Ghost Distillery, said, “Hats off to Chris for going to every single township meeting.”
