Montrose, PA, November 10, 2022 | Pringle-Nero Land Surveying have announced their retirement in Beaver County with JHA Companies acquiring their phone number and records. Duane Pringle and Walley Nero started the company in 1995, where they split the responsibilities of office work and field work between each other. As licensed surveyors, Duane did the field work while Walley worked in the office.
Pringle-Nero has been in business for 27 years in Beaver County, where they worked on different projects such as Locks & Dams, Subdivisions, Property surveys, Construction Stakeouts, As-builts, ALTAS, and Topographical surveys. According to Duane Pringle, Subdivisions and Property Surveys were their bread and butter. Pringle-Nero was primarily Walley and Duane, with a few additional helpers throughout the years. One such helper was Donald Bara, JHA Companies’ Vice President & Director of Land Surveying. Duane met Don through his sister, while Don was attending Penn State University. He began to work with Pringle-Nero between semesters, which is when Duane noticed Don’s knack for surveying and excellent people skills, while being open and honest with clients.
Years later, Don’s relationship with Duane and Walley came full circle when they approached him to purchase their business. Don spoke of his current workplace, JHA Companies, and introduced them to Joe Hunt. After multiple discussions an agreement was reached for JHA to acquire Pringle-Nero’s phone number and records, with Duane working part-time to provide consulting and surveying support.
Affectionally known as the “Pringle Nero Boys,” many of their clients have already reached out to JHA Companies for their surveying requests. With JHA Companies’ carrying forth the Surveying legacy in the Western Pennsylvania area, Duane feels good about the acquisition because “Don is running the surveying operations and I am very proud of his accomplishments. He will carry on the legacy under the direction of Joe, who is a good guy. Most of our business is word of mouth and I keep giving out JHA’s name whenever anyone is looking for surveying.”
Vice President & Director of Land Surveying, Donald Bara, said “We’re honored to have the opportunity to continue the work they have done over the past 27 years.
