Jennifer Schmidt is THRIVING here at JHA Companies! We are pleased to announce her promotion from Financial Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Jennifer started her career in banking and investments, moving to the engineering department of NYSEG, and working as the secretary of her township. She then transitioned to working for her husband Todd’s engineering firm, Fox Engineering, P.C., performing the multifaceted roles demanded by a small consulting practice. Jennifer joined the JHA team in 2009 part-time, serving as our Bookkeeper for a year before returning to work full-time for her husband’s company. In 2017, JHA acquired Fox Engineering, and so Jennifer returned to JHA serving as a Project Assistant and Bookkeeper. In late 2020, Jennifer was promoted to Controller, pivoting away from her role as Project Assistant to focus on the financial aspects of the business. Over her years at JHA, Jennifer has demonstrated the necessary skills, time-management, and work values necessary for this management role, and we are thrilled to see her thrive in this new position. She joins the Core Support Team of JHA, serving our Project Leaders daily, providing executive leadership, and strategic planning input. Please join us in congratulating Jennifer!
