JHA Companies partnered with The Leet Agency to design a distinctive 6,500-square-foot commercial office building in Hallstead Borough. The client envisioned a structure that respected the scale and character of the surrounding community while introducing a modern and refined aesthetic that would set it apart as a recognizable landmark.

What specific challenges did you face during this project, and how did JHA Companies solve them?

The building design was a primary driver of the project, aiming to create visual interest through thoughtful proportions, high-quality materials, and strong street presence—without relying on excessive signage. The L-shaped layout allowed two prominent tenant spaces to front Route 11, maximizing visibility, while three additional units face an adjacent borough road, enhancing access and flexibility.

The result is a professional office building that blends seamlessly into its context while offering a fresh, elevated presence—serving both the community and the client’s long-term business goals.
