TEAM MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: LOGAN MACK

LOGAN MACK

August 16, 2022 Logan Mack is a Montrose farm boy who graduated from Mt. View High School in 2011. He attended Penn State Wilkes-Barre for Survey Engineering, then transferred to Penn State Harrisburg for Civil Engineering, graduating with a dual degree and two Bachelors of Science degrees. Logan worked for Gwin Dobson & Foreman as an Engineer Technician before coming to JHA in the summer of 2017 when he moved back home. He has been at JHA for five years now. He started out as a Field Surveyor, and after a year and a half of fieldwork, he moved into the office to work on mapping. Logan is now in a role where he manages all of the Southwestern Energy projects for northeastern Pennsylvania and also aids the Water/Wastewater team with engineering and design work. Growing up, Logan excelled in math and science but also loved being outdoors. When Logan was seeking education and career opportunities, his family had their farm property surveyed, and he decided to intern with the survey company. Logan loves JHA specifically due to the work environment and camaraderie in his team. His favorite core value is People Matter Most because he enjoys solving people’s problems and seeing clients’ satisfaction when he finds the answer to their problems.

Outside of work, Logan enjoys everything outdoors; you’ll find him hunting, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. A fun fact about Logan is that he spends most of his time on his family’s farm doing landscaping and odd jobs. Logan is also an avid traveler who’s been to Italy, Yellowstone, Canada, and all of New England. If he’s not outside, Logan can typically be found with a good book reading mostly science fiction but will occasionally pick up historical non-fiction. Logan is also in the process of building his own home, which he anticipates being completed by 2024.
