Being a DAD! Hands down that is the greatest accomplishment. It’s stressful at times but is such an enjoyment.

Chris has always been passionate about problem solving and challenging tasks, so it was a natural choice for him to go into Engineering as a career. After first serving in the US Army, he went to school earning his degree in General Engineering Technology from Lord Fairfax Community College. His work history includes 20 years of working for several firms in the Engineering and Natural Gas industries, and as his career has progressed he has been more involved in the Natural Gas industry. He worked for Range Resources Appalachia LLC, where he was the Survey and Engineering Supervisor. Chris was responsible for all surface permitting from the initial layout phase of drilling locations all the way through the as-built and reclamation phases of the well site. After joining the JHA team in 2018, he jumped into the same field as a Project Leader and works mainly with Energy projects. He has extensive experience in well site design and working with regulatory agencies to get the project completed in a timely manner. You might not know this, but he also has experience in subdivision and large scale commercial projects! He is your go-to guy if you need project help on natural gas pads, stream crossings and even a subdivision or commercial project, and we are so glad to have him at JHA!
Chris Waddell.
Some office time mixed with a little time in the field assisting our clients in achieving their goals by solving their problems with a tough engineering or regulatory issue.
With Family. Sideline of a soccer, lacrosse or football field watching my son play or by a computer watching my daughter show me what she knows about technology.
People matter most – This is key to not just JHA but life. God made each of us unique and for a purpose. We should all strive to bring out the best in each other. It doesn’t matter if it’s a client, co-worker, friend or just a stranger on the street.
The easy answer is salvation because without that the rest is worthless. However, for this question I will say my honorable discharge from the US Army. To have served this great country of ours was an honor.
My kids being characters and goofing off as a family.
