Chad Reid grew up in rural, central Pennsylvania with most of his family working in the construction management industry. After high school, Chad attended college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he studied Business Law, Criminology, and minored in Accounting. But when he was not doing schoolwork, he was working in the construction industry with his dad at IA Construction, working on PennDOT projects that included building bridges, concrete, grading, dirt work, drainage, and highway paving. After 11 years at IA Construction and a recreational injury, Chad left the construction field and began working at Gwin, Dobson & Foreman (GD&F) as a Senior Project Representative. At GD&F Chad was involved with the construction of water and wastewater facilities, water distribution systems, and sewage collection systems. It was there that Chad met Travis Long (JHA Team Leader), and in 2019, Chad decided to leave central PA and follow Travis to JHA Companies. Chad is now a Project Leader for water, sewer, and construction. He enjoys his position because it gives him the perfect mix of being in the office and being in the field.
Chad currently lives just outside of Montrose, PA and enjoys various outdoor activities including hunting (with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Voodoo), fishing, skiing, and riding his motorcycle. Chad is an avid shooter and will be competing in the Precision Rifle League Northeast Region in 2021, a national competition. Chad is always staying busy with fun activities, including skydiving. When he is not out and about, he can be found rooting for his favorite hockey team, the Penguins.
