JHA personnel completed the site design for Trehab’s Gateway Commons development, a 40- unit townhouse project in Athens Township, PA. JHA provided surveying, environmental, site engineering and permitting acquisition services for this project.
JHA performed land surveying services, including topographic surveying, to locate existing features and generate contours, as well as boundary surveying, to establish the existing boundary, and completed a subdivision for the project parcel. JHA also provided mapping and a legal description to allow the subdivision to be completed.
Environmental services included the delineation of the existing on-site wetlands and preparation of wetland encroachment permitting. The wetland encroachments on this project consisted of a minor area of wetland fill, two road crossings, and two utility crossings.
Site engineering services included the preparation of land development documents necessary for approval of the project by the Athens Township Planning Commission, including municipal coordination, land development drawings, utility connection designs, erosion control, and stormwater management.
Project permitting included the approval of the Township Conditional Use, the Township Land Development, the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit, and wetland crossing permits.
