Key staff Jeremy May and Jim Burdett, both Sr. Project Managers, have also joined the JHA team with Joel as he takes on the role of Sayre Office Leader and Principal Consultant. Joel Moore said, “By combining the extensive natural gas facility and pipeline engineering and design experience of Integrity Engineering with the knowledge and experience of JHA, we can provide the industry with comprehensive services for all types of natural gas projects. The additional professional staff and geographical footprint of JHA will allow us to serve clients in the northeastern United States in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the required level of quality that is demanded by the industry.”
Joel’s career began in the natural gas industry in 1989 at the New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG). While with NYSEG, Joel provided engineering and project management support on several critical infrastructure projects. His responsibilities included serving as the alignment engineer and consultant for both the 20-mile 16” Seneca Storage Transmission project and as the Project Manager for the 10-mile Arcadia Gas Transmission Project. In 1999, Joel established Integrity Engineering, PLLC to provide natural gas engineering and related services to the industry, with a primary focus on gathering lines permitted and constructed under New York State Article VII regulations. In 2005, Joel became the Vice-President of Operations at the Corning Natural Gas Corporation. He was responsible for all aspects of Engineering and Operations for the 15,000-customer local gas distribution company. In 2009, Joel accepted a position at Chesapeake Midstream, where he was responsible for obtaining federal, state, and local permits for over 120 miles of natural gas gathering lines. As Manager of Engineering & Construction, Joel’s engineering and project controls team managed more than 700 individual projects to construct over 300 miles of pipeline infrastructure. In 2013, Joel re-opened Integrity Engineering, PLLC to continue serving the engineering needs of the gas industry. Joel earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from RIT and is a registered, Licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia.
