The Hallstead Family Pharmacy project involved the tenant build-out of a new pharmacy within the Hallstead Office Building—another successful development by our firm. Located in the heart of Hallstead, this project addressed a vital community need, as the town previously lacked a local pharmacy.

What specific challenges did you face during this project, and how did JHA Companies solve them?

The architectural scope focused on transforming a raw, open tenant space into a fully functioning pharmacy through detailed interior permit plans. The final design includes a welcoming front retail area accessible to the public, complemented by a secure rear section designated for prescription fulfillment and pharmacy operations. The layout was carefully planned to support efficient workflows, patient privacy, and regulatory compliance, while also providing a warm and accessible atmosphere for the community.
