Building on the success of the Hallstead Family Pharmacy, our team aided in the renovation of a dedicated pharmacy space within Barnes Kasson Hospital. The intent was to bring pharmaceutical services directly into the hospital setting, improving accessibility and streamlining care for both inpatients and the broader community.

What specific challenges did you face during this project, and how did JHA Companies solve them?

Although modest in scale, the project presented a unique set of challenges. Working within an existing healthcare facility required thoughtful coordination and strict adherence to life safety codes, particularly with regard to the building’s existing construction type and occupancy classification. The renovation demanded a careful balance between functionality, compliance, and minimal disruption to hospital operations.
