Construction Observer (Bradford County, PA)

For this role, we expect you to have extensive experience working on large commercial, utility, and residential construction projects using standard construction practices, methods, materials, and equipment. Preference will be given to candidates who have 5 years of construction experience related to water and sewer distribution and collection systems, water and wastewater facilities, sub-grade, concrete and structural construction. In this position, you will be observing work to ensure compliance with regulatory standards as well as project drawings and specifications. You will be observing testing practices and accept testing results and be responsible for daily quantities and measurements for payable items. Completing monthly pay applications with contractors prior to the project leader final review will also be part of your responsibility.
- Observe construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
- Review plans to identify potential conflicts, scheduling and quality control
- Document observations and compile daily reports, and notify project leader and owner of any issues.
- Determine the quantity and/or quality of materials
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- NCIET and ACI certifications, encouraged
